Coco, this memorial is addressed to you. As a baby rabbit brought into our lives in 1999, not a single person in our home had any idea that you would have such an incredibly profound impact on our minds and souls. We have experienced an entire kaleidoscope of emotions since your passing only three days ago; disappointment for not being there when you passed to the other side, painful sadness that you can’t be in our lap anymore, anger that God took you away, confusion that He would let it happen at such a critical moment in our temporal lives. You gave unadulterated, intense love with a tranquil calm. Never were you rattled by anything. You gave us grounding in times of stress. Today, I marked my calendar for November 7, 2009. On that day at 9:14 AM I will stop and throw a kiss up into the air. That will be your kiss from us, asking you to simply wait. I’ll We’ll be with you again. In the meantime, ask God to let you be with us in spirit.
